Borris the bulldog
Had everyone thinking
He would swallow them whole
Without even thinking
The look on his face
So vicious and mean
He’d snap and bark
And growl in between
No-one would dare
To come anywhere near
Just a glimpse of Borris
Would fill them with fear
And yet dear old Borris
Was really quite sweet
All he wanted to do
Was to play and compete
Along with the kids
As they kicked the ball
He wanted to have fun
That was actually all
