Poem Dudley

He was my good friend,
More than sixty four years.
When he reached life’s end
I and many shed tears.
We grew up in this town.
Together, we had so much fun.
He was always up, never down.
To the basketball courts, we’d run.
He was a Bulldog, I knew.
Never even wavering at all.
He was a good man, it’s true.
And now he’s answered God’s call.
Sheila was the love of his life.
Patrick and Patrice were joys, so pure.
Dear Lord, protect them from strife.
Dudley, we’ll all miss you for sure.

The Bullai Lama

Quotes Dalai Lama:

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.
If you want to be happy, practice compassion.

Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.

Poem Bulldog Reecie

I have a dog whose name is Reecie
She’s brown and black and sometimes greecy
She loves to run, she loves to do tricks
She loves to jump, she loves to lick
Bulldogs are sometimes scary
But not Reecie quite contrary
Reecie is in her terrible two’s
Which never leaves times for the blues
She hates when I leave
She loves when I come home
She loves it when I throw her a bone
Reecie is my girl
No matter what I do
She loves me and I love her too.
